Wylie Dufresne Is Hiring At His New East Village Pub
We’re so ready for it to be “early spring” (right after actual Christmas, of course, and yeah, okay, fine, we can wait out New Year’s, too) because that’s when Wylie Dufresne’s second New York restaurant — a pub serving “modern casual fare” called Alder — is scheduled to open.
According to Culintro, AKA Monster.com for the restaurant industry, the spot is currently seeking a manager, which we really hope means that everything is running according to plan and there won’t be any delays. We’re dying, here. And it’s not just us! Andrew Knowlton just put Alder on Bon Appetit’s list of Restaurants to Watch in 2013.
