First: Anthony Bourdain filmed a No Reservations in Austin during the South By Southwest music festival? Are you crazy, Zero Point Zero?! (Okay, maybe it’s preparation for filming in the Sudan on CNN.)

Second: That’s probably why he hung out with The Sleigh Bells and their friends away from downtown Austin and in a rented house in the boring old suburbs, where they roasted pigs, boiled crawfish, drank avocado margaritas, and goaded Tony into getting a tattoo from their friend with a portable tattoo kit, because why not, he’s old. “My body at this point is like a car,” he says in a VO. “There are so many dents in it by now that one more won’t matter.”

Third: That’s also probably why we found this clip on Pitchfork.
