Sound Bite: Anthony Bourdain Laments The ‘Awkward’ Amount Of Press He Garners

No one is better at both indulging in excess and getting press than Bourdain, but apparently it is possible to have too much of a good thing.
“Well, yeah,” Mr. Bourdain acknowledged. “I would have greatly preferred if the CNN, ABC and ‘Get Jiro!’ announcements all happened spread over a more distinguished period of time. Yeah, it’s awkward. My parents told me not to talk about myself too much. And there’s a little voice in me that’s saying, ‘Jesus, enough is enough!’”
