Chef Vs. Chef: Robert Downey Jr. Goes Up Against Bradley Cooper In Twin Food Movies

This is sort of like the comical twin cinematic experience that was No Strings Attached vs. Friends with Benefits, except that both Bradley Cooper and RDJ are as hot as JT/Mila, and no one is the poor man’s Ashton Kutcher/Natalie Portman duo.

Confused by reports that Robert Downey Jr. is going to be in Jon Favreau’s upcoming foodie flick Chef, about a guy who loses his restaurant job and opens a food truck to “reclaim his artistic promise”? Because isn’t Bradley Cooper supposed to be starring in that movie? Wrong, friends.

Bradley Cooper is starring in another film called Chef, his directed by August: Osage County’s John Wells. Cooper plays more of an up-and-coming chef who blows his early success with substance abuse issues, who then seeks to soberly open a three-star Michelin restaurant in Paris for redemption, which sounds a little familiar to Bradley Cooper’s junkie chef repertoire?

It’s tricky, we know. But luckily we’re here to give you the head-to-head stats on these two films, so that you can declare your allegiances early.
