WATCH: Busy Phillips Ruins Marcus Samuelsson’s Recipe On Access Hollywood

Michelle Beadle and Busy Phillips took over co-hosting duties on Access Hollywood today to cover for an ailing Billy Bush, much to Marcus Samuelsson’s chagrin. He stopped by to demo his blackened catfish and a banana-avocado smoothie while talking about his new memoir Yes, Chef, but he could barely get a word in amongst the magpies chattering about their cooking habits.

Then, Busy awkwardly drank an only half-made smoothie. She began rolling her eyes back and gushing over how delicious it was before Marcus realized what she had done.

“You ruined my recipe! What are you doing?!” he laughed. She’s just being Kim Kelly, dude. It’s fine. Marcus anticlimactically adds the missing avocado to the now-just-plain-banana smoothie which Busy is still gleefully downing, and, while the credits roll, he sends Billy well-wishes, admitting that cooking demos are much easier with him in the studio. Ouch.
