Cake Boss Cafe Opening In NYC’s Port Authority Bus Terminal
If you’ve been jonesin’ for retaliation after Buddy Valastro’s distasteful (oh, look, we just won the award for Politest Understatement Of The Century) Cake Boss prank involving trans-lebrity Carmen Carrera, you’ll soon have a new venue to tee-pee or protest.
He’s opening his second Cake Boss Cafe location in New York City in a 2774-square-foot space in the Port Authority Bus Terminal that has been vacant since 2000. Buddy dropped a reported $4.3 million to lease the space and he’ll have to chip in another $2 million just to renovate and get it restaurant-ready.
Says Michael Francois, Chief of Real Estate and Development for the Port Authority, “The store has the potential to become a major draw for residents, visitors and workers throughout New York City.”
Buddy’s first NYC Cake Boss Cafe opened in Discovery Times Square.
