WATCH: Carla Hall And Jimmy Fallon Bust A Move…Again
We all remember that fateful first episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on which Carla Hall appeared as part of a Top Chef All-Stars Quick Fire, only to impress the pants off of him with her Chicken Pot Pie With The Crust On The Bottom.
On Friday, she returned to bust another move with Jimmy and The Roots while grilling fresh peaches drizzled with honey (which she soiled for Jimmy by topping with creme fraiche — JIMMY HATES CREME FRAICHE!), plugging her new cookbook, and showing off her tiny cookies from Alchemy by Carla Hall. Jimmy illuminated the origins of Mexican chocolate cookies (you need Mexicans to make them) as well as Black Forest Cookies (guess who you need to make those), while Carla identified the origins of honey as being made by “honey people.”
“…So, bees?” Jimmy replied. “Some people call them bees, some people call them honey people.”
Silly Jimmy. Bees are people, too. (The pair may have added one too many herbs to their herbal lemonade.)
