Playtime: This Celebrity Chef Coloring/Activity Book Is Totally Charming

Josh Ozersky discovered a playful culinary coloring and activity book called Small Thyme Cooks, which he bills as being for “Children of All Ages,” but we, like him, just spent a really long time scrolling through the free downloadable pages on its blog, so it feels pretty adult-friendly to us. Plus, coloring as an adult is really nostalgic and relaxing! (Trust us.)

According to the website:

This culinary activity and coloring book, by designer/winemaker Andre Hueston Mack, pulls together some of the most innovative chefs, ingredients, and techniques. Food nerds of all ages will relish the chef coloring pages, mushroom word search, sous vide math problem, chef coat design, madlib restaurant review, farm-to-table-maze, and other delicious wastes of time. Part of the proceeds of the book go to the Charlie Trotter Culinary Foundation, which provides scholarships and mentoring to young people interested in food-related careers.

Coloring for a good cause! Go do this therapeutic Gael Greene birthday maze right now. It’s timely and topical!
