WATCH: Curtis Stone Settles The Herbs Vs ‘Erbs Debate Once And For All
Curtis Stone was demoing beef cobbler on The Today Show the morning when Willie Geist stopped everything to discuss the proper pronunciation of “herbs.”
Curtis acknowledged he was wrong for pronouncing the H, because he was in America and should be respectful of its accents, but not so fast. Willie cited that both Giada and Martha (PROMINENT AMERICANS) say herbs-with-an-H, so he feels like everyone should be doing it. (Yeah, that’s right; Willie came armed with sources. He’s a journalist, you guys.)
“That’s just me being an Aussie,” Curtis says of his preferred pronunciation, and quickly redirects to his wacky beef cobbler, because Willie really does not want to let this go.
