WATCH: Paula Deen’s Aunt Jemima Accuser Speaks Out On Camera
According to footage of Dora Charles’ interview with The New York Times, Paula Deen not only dropped N-bombs, asked her employees to dress like Aunt Jemima, and made postcards from photos of her black employees ringing a dinner bell in front of The Lady and Sons, but Paula also once threw a $100 bill at Charles when she expressed an inability to cover her medical expenses. Said Charles in the interview:
“I told her, at times, I didn’t have enough money to buy my own medication. We were sitting across the table [from each other], and [the money] didn’t reach me, and she said, [throws bill] ‘Here’s a hundred dollars. Go buy your medicine.'”
Entertainment Tonight has also confirmed that Dora Charles has the same lawyer as Lisa T. Jackson, the woman who first brought suit against Paula Deen and her brother Bubba Heirs.
