WATCH: Emeril Lagasse And Make-A-Wish Create Major Tear-Jerker Moments On GMA
Two minutes from now, when you hate yourself for tearing up at your computer, don’t say we didn’t warn you. Because this is truly and spectacularly heartwarming and tear-inducing.
Good Morning America featured an 11-year-old Make-A-Wish child today in conjunction with Macy’s Believe Campaign, which donates $1 to Make-A-Wish for every stamped letter to Santa you drop in a Macy’s SantaMail Box at participating locations.
Sweetly, meeting none other than Emeril Lagasse was this little girl’s wish. She spends her many bed-ridden days at home watching cooking shows, and, natch, Emeril was always her favorite.
“I always watched him, and he was always so confident and sure of himself. He gave me so much strength,” she said.
And so, GMA surprised her by letting her do a cooking segment with her culinary idol on air. Check out the very cute clip below.
