WATCH: Fresh Off The Boat’s Season Finale Gives Us Eddie Huang, Babysitter
On the Season 1 Finale of Fresh Off the Boat, which takes Eddie Huang through Miami Part 3, we see the softer side of Edwyn, which mostly involves him playing with adorable children. He visits Little Haiti and we get a gastro-tour of Chef Creole (AKA “Haitian Jonathan Swift”)’s home-turf, complete with vats of red beans and rice, buckets full of snapper, and a whole pig roasting low and slow at 275 out back.
A bunch of the neighborhood kids come out at the sight of the cameras (including some “puppies” from Chef Creole’s “litter”), creating heartstring-tuggingly cute babysitter scenarios like the one pictured above. We’ll try to keep our stifled maternal instincts at bay.
