Get Jiro! Debuts At #1 On NYT Bestseller List
The tale of a laconic, food-obsessed sushi chef who is also good at killing is apparently compelling to many nerds, both comic ones and food ones. Why? Get Jiro! debuted this week on the New York Times Bestseller List at #1.
The comic book, released last week, beat out four Batman collections in the Hardcover Graphic Books category, which clearly indicates that Batman should care more about sushi.
Bourdain, who is currently at Comic-Con, tweeted out his congratulations to his collaborators Langdon Foss, Jose Villarrubia, and Joel Rose.
Our review of the book is here.
