WATCH: Giada Whips Up Weeknight Man Food With Jimmy Fallon
Awash in a post-Emmy nomination announcement glow (the Italian Stallion was nominated for five), Giada De Laurentiis joined Jimmy Fallon for some bourbon-beer-maple-syrup martinis and a calzone-making powwow. Donning a foxy red leather dress for the late-night host, she insisted her so-called “Antipasto Calzone” (or, “giant Hot Pocket,” if you’re Jimmy) was the ultimate weeknight manfood, although we really wish our boyfs knew their way around a block of Fontina the way she does.
Jimmy couldn’t quite handle her beer-bourbon-maple-syrup martinis (which also contained a pinch of chili powder and fresh ground nutmeg…sooo manly), but he did give her a good ribbing for her prissy Italian pronunciation while getting the scoop on the upcoming season of Food Network Star.
