NYT-Starred Restaurant Creates Three-Course Marijuana Menu
Roberta’s of Bushwick is one of the city’s hottest pizzerias, with two stars from the New York Times, a shoutout in a future No Reservations episode, and the honor of rendering former critic Sam Sifton speechless. What did they decide to do next? Why, they designed a gourmet, three-course, two-cocktail menu with marijuana as the secret ingredient. Well, it’s not a secret, really, considering GQ just wrote about it.
Who knew that marijuana could be used in so many different applications? For instance, the first course of Long Island bluefish is smoked ”with the vaporized fumes of a strain called Sour Diesel”, the cream of coconut is infused with “Northern Lights,” and the dessert is made with weed compound butter.
