WATCH: Graham Elliot Cries During The Second Night Of MasterChef Auditions
On Monday night’s season premiere of MasterChef, we saw Joe Bastianich get a little teary-eyed during the auditions after watching television’s first blind chef be accepted into the competition. Last night, fellow judge Graham Elliot joined the tissue party. That leaves just one judge who hasn’t been moved to tears yet. (Are Gordon Ramsay‘s tear ducts even fully functional…?)
Graham got shaken up over a U.S. Marine named Joel who entered the competition in honor of his son, who drowned five years ago. With a two-to-one vote, Joel wins a white apron. Check out the moment below.

Okay, I cried, too. And I would have LOVED a taste of that dish. Caribbean food is often outstanding, working with some odd (by American standards) foods. I miss a taste of fresh Scotch bonnet in my sauces.
