Harold Dieterle Isn’t Opening A Restaurant In Brooklyn Anymore
Though last October Harold Dieterle announced that he was opening a European concept restaurant in a downtown Brooklyn space, the Perilla chef and Top Chef winner pulled plans for The Marrow from that location and now wants to open it in the West Village, in a space formerly occupied by a cute little bistro.
If he manages to convince the community board to let him operate in the space, Dieterle will not only add a third restaurant to his West Village restaurant empire (including Kin Shop), he will also strike a blow to sad, food-obsessed hipsters everywhere (but pretty much only in Brooklyn.)
