We don’t expect every amateur rapper to bring to the table Biggie’s impeccable use of internal rhyme. Not by a mile. But we do expect simple things from aspiring artists, like occasional rhymes, adhering to an aurally pleasing rhyme scheme, a modicum of cleverness, and rhythm. Sadly, Kimmie’s beats exhibit none of these traits, but she chose to share her “side thing” with fellow cheftestants anyway for a brief glimpse into her true self.
