Julie Elkind Ditches Esquared Hospitality, Joins Delicatessen Team Right Before Reality Show Premiere
Our favorite kickboxing pastry chef (not to be confused with our favorite jiu-jitsu practicing chef-wifey) Julie Elkind seems to have grown too big for her britches at Esquared Hospitality Group now that she’s a Kardashian about to be a featured cast member an E! docu-series alongside Todd English.
She ditched her position as Corporate Executive Pastry Chef of Esquared Hospitality Group (which owns properties like BLT and Casa Nonna) to work for Michael Ferraro at Delicatessen, where she will serve as the restaurant’s Executive Pastry Chef. According to sources:
“At Delicatessen, Elkind will bring an original approach to dessert and pastry, which will compliment Ferraro’s menu of globally-inspired comfort food. A fully revamped dessert menu, to be rolled out in the upcoming weeks, will feature new items as well as updates to restaurant favorites.”
And she moves in this coming Monday, March 18th, the day after Playing With Fire premieres on E! Welcome to the big leagues, Julie.
