Lidia Bastianich Sued By Former Felida Servers
Eataly co-owner Lidia Bastianich is being sued by former servers of her New York City restaurant Felidia for a whole mess of financial disputes. Among the allegations are that she illegally distributed tips, failed to meet minimum wage requirements, and generally mucked up overtime compensation and spread-of-hours pay.
Bastianich is no stranger to lawsuits. Just last year, she was sued by an up-and-coming chef who apparently came from Italy to train with her, but claimed she was instead “enslaved” by her mentor and set to the task of caring for some elderly dying woman in Queens. Sure.
