Masaharu Morimoto To Judge Miss Universe Pageant

Is this just an Iron Chef thing? First Cat Cora judged the Miss USA pageant, now Masaharu Morimoto is doing it too — except he’s judging the Miss Universe pageant, which is kind of like the worldly older sister who “studied” abroad for five years in college.

Eater reports that Morimoto is joining a panel of judges for the December 19th pageant in Las Vegas, along with luminaries such as Real Housewife Lisa Vanderpump, Kardashian accessory Scott Disick, and magical song-elf Cee-Lo Green.

Excited to look at women in bikinis who have opinions about global issues, Morimoto tweeted, ”I’m excited for #missuniverse2012. Finally I’m judging!”
