WATCH: Michael Chernow Sleeps Outside For The Homeless
After tackling whether or not the Pete Wells review of Guy’s American Kitchen + Bar was “too harsh” or “too personal” (you can’t see our faces right now, but an ellipses doesn’t do them justice), The Today Show’s Take 3 visited with Michael Chernow of The Meatball Shop/The Braiser’s Informal List Of Chefs With The Sexiest Hair.
He brought along a bunch of meatball samples, thankfully none dressed with Donkey Sauce, and talked about his latest charitable endeavor: “sleeping out on the street so homeless kids don’t have to.” We’re not entirely sure how one leads to the other, but donations are involved, so it seems legit.
The Sleepout is hosted by Covenant House, and will feature Michael, along with 500 other leaders in business, media, and sports sleeping outside for a night to benefit homeless youth and Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.
