WATCH: Rachael Ray Wants Michael Symon’s Beef (Burgers)
Today on The Rachael Ray Show, everything was about burgers! And who better to talk about burgers than three-time South Beach Food And Wine Festival Burger Bash winner/impish Meatphistopheles Michael Symon?
It’s not helpful to poor Rachael when you start off a segment with some clips of famous chefs (Did you catch Bobby Flay and Giada De Laurentiis next to Buddy Valastro?) repeating the words “medium rare!” like a ritualistic chant. Amidst this fanfare, Symon comes in and introduces some mad sauce-making sorcery, which entraps Rachael and possibly makes her start hallucinating burgers everywhere:
After the commercial break, Rachael cannot physically contain her covetous glee as Symon assembles his Yo Burger. You’re waiting for the burger, Rachael. Michael isn’t the burger. You can’t eat him.
