Mike Isabella Hosts ‘Industry Takeover Night’ At His DC Resto
Did you miss out on snagging a reservation at the Top Chef pop-up restaurant in New York this fall? Good news! We’re pretty sure a Top Chef pop-up kitchen is the extent of what Mike Isabella’s “Industry Takeover Night” idea is going to amount to.
On the first Monday of every month, his Washington DC pizza bar Graffiato will host guest chefs and guest mixologists offering up small plates and specialty cocktails. The special 10pm-1am seatings are geared towards fellow industry folk, but non-Top Chef-testants are invited to partake as well.
Isabella’s also cooking up a secret ingredient tasting menu — 12 courses for 12 lucky diners focused around a “gem” ingredient — and a four-times-a-year seasonal wine dinner at the restaurant. Will any of this drown out the unbearable noise of Bandolero? Probably not.
