‘My Heart is Broken Today’: Celebrity Chefs Pay Tribute to Prince on Social Media

Prince Rogers Nelson, known as Prince, died today at the age of 57. The musician who had a long and legendary career is being mourned all over the world. Celebrity chefs have taken to Instagram to express their condolences:

I just heard the tragic news that my favorite and the most influential artist of all time just died. I am so saddened and shocked. Devastated. I always thought I would see him again soon and often. I can’t believe he has been taken from the world. I had the gift of seeing him not only live but playing for me at arms length. He was generous, funny and kind. He was one of a kind, and there is no one like him. Along with Michael Jackson he literally wrote the soundtrack to my adolescence. I love you so much my God of music, and I hope you are at peace in the heavens somewhere. My heart is broken today.
