If You Have Nothing But Eggs, Champagne, and Asian Kit Kats in Your Fridge, Then You’re as Fancy as a Chef
It’s that time of year again: New York Magazine’s “The Food Issue” is out this weekend and one of its features goes inside the home fridges of 11 New York City chefs for a photo series. More than one claimed feeling as vulnerable as if they were posing for a porn shoot. Most didn’t have a ton of food on hand with the exception of breakfast options. Other hard stats include:
- 8 of the 11 chefs have eggs on hand 24/7.
- 5 of the 11 chefs had champagne on hand.
- Amanda Freitag and the Big Gay Ice Cream guys Doug Quint and Bryan Petroff both had Asian Kit Kats.
