WATCH: The Trailer For NEXT Sicily Looks Like Freaky Art House Film
If you were lucky enough to book a seating at Grant Achatz‘s NEXT‘s Sicilian themed dinner, the latest menu concept for the Alinea chef, then watching this newly-released trailer is a good omen of things to come in your future. If you weren’t, watching this video, narrated by the daughter of the founder of the Anna Tasca Lanza cooking school in Palermo, will be like eating there yourself — which, from the looks of it, will taste like Darren Aronofsky delving into the sun-bleached psyche of Sicilian immigrant grandmothers, or an Italian pasta version of Koyaanisqatsi. We suggest smoking up your finest basil as you watch this.
NEXT Sicily opened on June 2nd and will run for the next few months. Tickets are sold out, unless you’re at a computer randomly and happen to stumble upon the next wave of tickets.
