Anthony Bourdain’s “No Reservations” Wins Critics’ Choice Award
Zero Point Zero productions can add one more piece of shiny hardware next to their Emmys: last night, No Reservations won the 2012 Critics Choice Award for Best Reality Series.
To prove how legit these awards are, Community won Best Comedy Series (six seasons and a movie!), Bourdain’s late-night BFF Jimmy Fallon won Best Late Night Series, and the BBC’s Sherlock won Best TV Miniseries. (Okay, perhaps I’m biased towards certain shows.)
Bourdain had no response as of publication, but it’s probably because he’s James Joyce-ing his way around Dublin at the moment.
Although the show won the 2009 and 2011 Emmy for Best Cinematography for Nonfiction Programming, this is the first time that No Reservations as a show has won a major overall “Best” award. So congratulations on the win, Anthony Bourdain and Zero Point Zero! If you’re up to it, you should repeat this night one more time.
