WATCH: This Is How Ants Are Harvested At Noma
Rene Redzepi gifted us this especially stomach-turning video of how those tasty little kefir lime-flavored live ants served with yogurt at Noma are harvested. Apparently, some poor sap named Trevor goes out into the Scandinavian wilderness (or just outside the restaurant), sticks his hand in an ant hill, waits, and shakes off the bugs that crawl into his hand into a container to carry back with him. Cue endless shudders.
