P. Diddy To Close His Atlanta Restaurant
To all the Atlanta celebrities who read this blog: we regret to inform you that Sean “Puff Daddy/P. Diddy/Pleeble Dreeble” Combs is closing Justin’s, the restaurant named after his son, after 14 years of being the place where All The Celebrities Go.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Combs’s Bad Boy World Entertainment Group closed Justin’s Restaurant in order to pursue “other business ventures in music, television, fashion, fragrance and spirits.” It’s worth noting that the original NYC location of Justin’s closed in 2007.
If you’re despairing that the restaurant has closed (presumably so that P.Diddy can pay for his son’s college education), may we suggest that you go to one of Atlanta’s cooler, sustainable, slow food restaurants? Or perhaps give your money to Richard Blais so he can expand his burger fiefdom in the area?
Whatever happens, we don’t think people are crying too much over this, as they’re probably rolling around the floor in all white clothing made of dog fur and smelling like a combo of Barack Obama and Martin Luther King and thinking “Man, P. Diddy has made me so happy in life with all of these products and all of his hip hops that I do not care if Justin’s is closing.”
