Padma Lakshmi Won’t Give Up Confidential Top Chef Locale, Instead Just Shushes Seattleites
You know what’s way more embarrassing than the nearly-impossible jig of keeping the Season 10 Top Chef location under wraps being up? The fact that host Padma Lakshmi won’t give up the act. She continues to skulk around the Pacific Northwest, teetering in ridiculous heels and hidden behind enormous sunglasses (or, you know, so we picture in our mind’s eye), shushing the residents of Seattle whenever they attempt to approach her.
According to a tipster at Eater:
“Padma Lakshmi walked out of the Inn at the Market and into a waiting minivan. Since we are huge fans, we got out of the car, walked across the street, and waved wildly. When she looked up from her iPhone, I yelled ‘we’re huge fans!’…and she shushed me, holding a finger to her lips. Embarrassed, we slunk away.”
