Parts Unknown Season 2 to Premiere September 15th
Is it time for the return of Parts Unknown, Anthony Bourdain’s travel show where he gleefully corrupts the image of the formerly-stodgy CNN? Almost, because the network announced today that the second season would premiere on September 15th.
According to a press release, the first episode will take place in Jerusalem, a quiet, peaceful town where nothing of geopolitical importance ever happens:
“While the political situation is often tense between the people living in these areas, Bourdain concentrates on their rich history, food and culture, and spends time with local chefs, home cooks, writers and amateur foodies.”
From there, Bourdain will travel to Spain, Copenhagen, Sicily, Detroit, Tokyo, South Africa, and New Mexico. Which reminds us: New Mexico makes us think of Albuquerque, which makes us think of…oh, crap, Breaking Bad and Parts Unknown air at the same time.
You can TiVo Parts Unknown every Sunday at 9 PM EST.
