Bobby Deen Promises Paula’s New Online Network Will Be ‘Less Edited,’ ‘Freer’

Paula Deen announced today that, rather than return to television (where she claims to be fielding many offers), she’ll be launching an online subscription network, showcasing video and recipes, and presumably some sort of socially interactive fan aspect.

Like so many food personalities before her, Paula sees the move away from television network overlords as an opportunity to present her most authentic self. Said Bobby Deen to Entertainment Tonight about her upcoming project:

“What makes her so wonderful is her accessibility and people can relate to her, and with this network they’re actually going to get to see her on a completely different level where she’s maybe a little less edited, and she’s a little freer to do whatever she likes…So you’re gonna see more of her home, more of her friends. You’re gonna see more inside her personality.”

We’re hoping that means more naughty eclair videos, living out in the open, free and unedited, unashamed and existing boldly, for all on the internet to see. Work it, Paula! Damn the man! No gods, no masters! (Etc, etc.)
