President Obama Dines At Nobu Waikiki On Hawaiian Vacation
After a five-hour long wind-and-rain-battered round of golf with White House Executive Chef Sam Kass, among other bros, President Obama took his lady out to Nobu Waikiki for a nice, relaxing, three-and-a-half-hour long dinner. (Exhausting tasting menu? Probably.)
From 8:35pm to 12:09am (the press was really attentive, guys), the President and First Lady feasted upon the culinary stylings of Nobu Matsuhisa. Nobu Waikiki was also the site of their first meal out in 2012, when they dined there on New Year’s Day.
Nobu marks the third restaurant the First Family has made a second annual pilgrimage to on their holiday trip to Hawaii. They’ve also eaten at Morimoto and Alan Wong’s restaurant this holiday season, mirroring their homestate food crawl from last Christmas.
