Do Sasha and Malia Obama knock on White House chef Sam Kass‘ door in the middle of the night begging for pop tarts after a long day of eating garden veggies? Where does he weigh in on the proposal for chubby kids mowing the White House Lawn? This is what NPR‘s Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me hosts opted to grill him on before playing a round of the game show.
Sam, who followed the President’s fam all the way from Chicago as their personal chef, is Michelle Obama’s other partner in crime at POTUS headquarters. They work together on her healthy eating initiatives and, yes, she has him trekking out to the White House Garden she planted every day for that night’s dinner.
