See How Celebrity Chefs Are Weathering The Blizzard

So…there’s a lot more snow than we thought there would be. The mayor issued a travel ban starting at 2:30pm, and there has been pretty much a complete moratorium on all weekend plans. See how celebrity chefs are weathering the storm!

Eric Ripert

Le Bernardin is closed for the day, so Ripert is cooking at home.

Andrew Carmellini

Carmellini is making sure New Yorkers are fed. The Dutch is open for business!

Don’t worry #NYC we’re feeding you @thedutchnyc #blizzard16

Mario Batali

He’s helping all of us out with a snow day recipe.

Snow days call for a slow braise. Recipe on mariobatali.com. Wheeee!!!

Carla Hall

Hall is having fun (as usual) and embracing the weather down in D.C. by making a snow angel.

My snow angel skills are a little rusty. #blizzard2016

Geoffrey Zakarian

We’re so on your page. Zakarian is using the snow as a natural freezer to keep his drinks cold. And, bonus: If you’re in Greenwich, CT, his restaurant is open for dinner.

Magnums and liquor on ice. We will be open for dinner ! @thenationalct who’s hungry? #greenwich

Marcus Samuelsson

But…we’re pretty sure Marcus Samuelsson is surviving the storm best of all by being in Bermuda. Excellent timing, Marcus.

Stay warm and dry, everyone! Show us how you’re surviving the storm by hashtagging #thebraiser.
