The Bocuse d’Or Team USA Has Some Snazzy Bowling Shirts
What does Team USA do when they’re not training for the Bocuse d’Or? Why, they’re bowling, of course! And, wouldn’t you know, the coolest team in the culinary world has their own bowling shirts, courtesy of Gavin Kaysen.
Thanks to famed food photographer Bonjwing Lee, a.k.a. The Ulterior Epicure, we get a glimpse at some behind-the-scenes Bocuse d’Or dorkery.
Witness: Gavin “Mr. Nasty” Kaysen and Grant “The Sherminator” Achatz pretending to be in the tenth grade! (We don’t know where those nicknames came from, either.) Richard Rosendale and his commis Corey Siegel posing for their team photo! The gentlemen enjoying cocktails in a magenta room!
We mean absolutely no offense by this, but “The Bowlcuse d’Ork” should totally be the name of this team.
