Get Ready For Todd English-Branded Oysters
Todd English is expanding his empire yet again, but not with another restaurant. No, Chef English has bought an oyster farm, which will sell his very own brand of oysters. He announced the new venture via Twitter this morning, warning telling the world to “get ready”.
The Todd English Blue Point Oyster comes from English’s new farm in Westport, Connecticut. To help promote it, he also launched a website with pictures of the farm, advice on choosing oysters, and descriptions of the shellfish you might soon find on your plate. If you thought this was just another oyster, think again:
When spotted on menus, the Todd English Blue Point conjures images of sparkling ocean waves, salty air, and picturesque New England shores. Its freshness overwhelms the palate with a taste of the sea, carrying a refined crisp flavor within succulent white meats, fading gently into a soft metallic finish.
Get ready, indeed.
