Boston Mayor Bans Chick-fil-A From Putting Resto Next To Freedom Trail
In the deluge of Chick-fil-A condemations comes lovably grumpy Bahsten Mayah Tom Menino, who told the Boston Herald that he’s taken extreme measures against the company’s anti-gay stance:
“Chick-fil-A doesn’t belong in Boston. You can’t have a business in the city of Boston that discriminates against a population. We’re an open city, we’re a city that’s at the forefront of inclusion,” Menino told the Herald yesterday.
“That’s the Freedom Trail. That’s where it all started right here. And we’re not going to have a company, Chick-fil-A or whatever the hell the name is, on our Freedom Trail.”

Mayor Tom Menino is violating Chick-Fil-A’s constitutional rights. This is government attempting to censor a citizen’s right to belief as they see fit. It doesn’t matter that their beliefs are distasteful they have a right to them. Menino should spend the rest of his life in prison for this. I’m tired of elected officials thinking that the law applies to anyone but them. It is treason.
I don’t agree with Chick-Fil-A’s anti-gay stance but they have every right to feel that way. I don’t agree with the KKK’s hatred of minorities or Jesse Jackson’s hatred of white people but they all have a right to be racist. To deny them that is a far worse offense than their beliefs. In fact it justifies them.
