Former Top Chef-testant Carla Pellegrino’s Cat Allegedly Murdered
Who else from the most recent crop of Top Chef-testants would you expect to come forward with an elaborate tale of cat murder, poison, and deranged neighbors? Of course, Carla Pellegrino.
She Instagrammed an (admittedly adorable) baby photo of her 16-month old cat Miccio at just two weeks old in memoriam, revealing the whole sordid plot…on Instagram. Carla wrote:
“This is Miccio, my kitty when only 2 weeks old, Miccio was only 16 months and killed today by poison given to him by some sick neighbor of mine! God keep his soul! I can’t believe how cruel people can be. He found his way back home and died in my back yard. I hope this person pays for what him/her did to my Miccio; he was the sweetest kitty I have ever met. #chefcarlapellegrino #animalcruelty #stop”
Later, she posted to her Facebook:
“Thank you so much for your condolences. Miccio was cremated last night after the animal control released his body. The crime was reported to the authorities. May his soul be in peace with God and may whom did that to him be dealing with karma for the rest of he/her life. Thanks again!”
We’re all for karmic retribution. Anyone care to begin compiling a list of Carla’s enemies? We’d start it, but we have a lot of work to do, and this seems like it would be time consuming.
