Top Chef Season 11 Gets A Green Light, Hosts Open Calls In Ex-Top Chefs’ Restos
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: signing a contract with The Magical Elves is like signing your soul away to the devil. Top Chef-testants are the legally bound Ariels to Andy Cohen’s villainous water witch. We were super stoked to hear that Top Chef Season 11 got a green light from Bravo (but then again, of course it did) and was kicking off the casting process already. Before we got too swept up in wondering whether our prediction for Top Chef’s next host city would come true, though, we saw where the casting calls were being held.
Austinites can audition at Paul Qui’s former digs Uchiko.
Chicagoans should congregate at Stephanie Izard’s Girl & The Goat.
Chefs in the five boroughs can make their way to Brooklyn for a casting call at Dale Talde’s Talde.
Recurring Top Chef judge Michelle Bernstein is hosting the Miami auditions at Michy’s, and Eric Greenspan of totally unrelated Next Iron Chef: Redemption fame is hosting Top Chef-aspiring Los Angelenos at The Foundry on Melrose.
Come be on Top Chef! Oh, but, should you win, your restaurant will also be subjected to Bravo occupation whenever they so choose. Good luck!
