WATCH: Last Night’s Top Chef Seattle Judges’ Table Left Us Stunned
If you haven’t fully recovered from last night’s Top Chef: Seattle just yet, you may want to avoid this for another few hours or so. Let’s just say, it was really lucky that we were already two and a half glasses of wine deep by the conclusion of the super-sized 75-minute long episode.
It’s safe to say that Kristen’s restaurant concept Atelier Kwan crashed and burned. On the bright side, she didn’t have a bag of dicks running her front of house, but, unfortunately, the truth of the matter is that the chefs on her team simply weren’t as talented as she was. Her dishes couldn’t be pulled off a la minute by every single member of her team the way she might have been able to execute them, and so her restaurant suffered.
In what was probably the most controversial elimination of the season since CJ’s way back in Episode 5, Kristen took responsibility for her restaurant’s shortcomings, which unfortunately meant taking the fall for Josie’s failures. What this means, friends, is that we now live in a world where Josie is still on Top Chef, while Kristen “Vision of Beauty, Grace, and Talent” Kish slums it in Last Chance Clusterfuck. Check out Atelier Kwan’s whole, brutal judging in three parts below.
