VIDEO: The Braiser Chats with Michael Anthony and Suzanne Cupps of Untitled at The Whitney

Hi everyone! We’re so excited to announce that today we’re launching our video series Breaking Bread with Brad. We’ll take you behind the scenes at some of our favorite restaurants and will talk to chefs and restaurateurs about where they’ve been, what they’re doing, and where they’re going.

Our host is Brad Lauren who has a career that spans more than 15 years in the film, television, and culinary industries. After receiving a degree in Culinary Management at the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE), he began his career in hospitality at Union Square Cafe as a reservationist and host before becoming the manager of Shake Shack in Madison Square Park. He’s managed several other restaurants including Tom Colicchio‘s Topping Rose House in The Hamptons and Graydon Carter’s Monkey Bar. In the film and TV industry, he worked as an editor for commercials for both television and the Internet.

We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been up to and hear what you think. For our first episode we interviewed Michael Anthony and Suzanne Cupps. Michael is the Executive Chef and Managing Director of both Untitled at The Whitney and Gramercy Tavern and Suzanne is the Chef de Cuisine at Untitled. Where better to begin our series than with a Danny Meyer restaurant?

Now, we present to you the first episode of Breaking Bread with Brad. Enjoy!
