There are two responses one could have to this video from Foursquare, which tracks the check-ins in both New York City and Tokyo to show how ”every city around the world pulses with activity around places every hour of every day.” One could think that this is a fascinating sociological tool, tracking the behaviors and patterns of cities and societies, and note that people are still checking into restaurants until the break of dawn (New Yorkers are always hungry). Conversely, one could think that Foursquare is the next Big Brother and freak out.
Okay, there’s a third option: light up a doobie and watch the pretty light show while blasting “Time” by Pink Floyd.
