WATCH: Jeff Bridges And Tom Colicchio Discuss A Place At The Table With The New York Times
After years of filming, A Place At The Table, the documentary focused on hunger in America produced by Tom Colicchio and Jeff Bridges, opens in theaters today. (It’s also available on iTunes and OnDemand, but social problems are so much better to ponder on the big screen.) As part of their promotional tour, the two celebrities, the film’s directors Kristi Jacobson and Lori Silverbush, and Share Our Strength’s CEO Bill Shore, sat down with the New York Times to discuss the film, as well as the impetus behind it. (Also, Bridges reveals why he, most known for his portrayal of The Dude from The Big Lebowski, got involved with the movie — and it has nothing to do with the munchies.)
