WATCH: Zac Efron Pulls A Zimmern, Eats A Duck Fetus
Who knew that Zac Efron was such an adventurous eater? On his recent visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote his newest movie The Paperboy, he revealed that he has a bit of the Andrew Zimmern in him: every time he goes to a different country, he tries everything the locals eat. And he means everything: when he recently visited the Philipines with his father, he ate balut on top of a volcano. Balut, by the way, is the local term for “whole duck fetus, fresh from the shell.” (The volcano part was incidental.)
But the amazing part is that even after he gagged and spit out the beak, he had three more. If Andrew Zimmern ever thinks of retiring, we’ll definitely take this younger, bicep-ier version with hair as a suitable replacement.
